Rudy Cane is a member of the Environmental Matters Committee, Maggie McIntosh, Chair and James Malone Jr., Vice-Chair. Rudy is a chair of the Environmental Matters Subcommittee on Agriculture, Agriculture Preservation, Open Space, and the House Chair for the joint subcommittee on Program Open Space and Agricultural Land Preservation.
The Environmental Matters Committee handles issues related to the environment and the Chesapeake Bay. It is also responsible for such important issues as health care reform and electricity deregulation.
