Not only do I advocate adequate, sanitary, decent, and affordable housing for all residents, including the elderly as well as families with children, but also I support more home ownership as opposed to rental housing.

GOALS

• Familiarization of the elderly and the families with children with information on the topic of home ownership provision of information on the utilization of the 515 USDA Rural Development Program and the HUD 202 Program to assist senior citizens with safe, sanitary, and affordable housing
• Encouragement of home ownership by elderly families over age 62 through the utilization of the 504 Rural Development Program, which will grant loans as low as 1%
• Promotion of home ownership by younger families through the 502 USDA Rural Development Program

Rudy has been the administrator of Housing and Community Development at Shore Up! Incorporated since 1984 , where he has built more than 80 housing units such as the one pictured above completed in 1998.
