As well as maintaining that public transportation is needed in order to have a vibrant economy in our district, I contend that our district needs a cost-effective transportation system that will benefit those in our community who are hindered by their inability to move from one point to another inexpensively.

GOALS

• Study of the feasibility of cost-effective mass transit systems based in Salisbury and Cambridge
• Encouragement of the funding of this study by the state and local governments and by the private sector
• Implementation of this effort if it is determined to be feasible
